The Accidental Missionary 
We are holding you all so close in thought and prayer and have marked our calendars to pray specifically for your family and medical team as you go into surgery. Will keep praying as you recover well and completely. Sending you so much love!

If the original posting was on Wednesday, I wouldn’t be surprised if the surgery has already been completed. When I had my quadruple bypass last year, they did surgery quite promptly. My stay in the hospital was not lengthy, and I had no need of the pain meds after arriving home. Of course at 72 I had additional risk factors. I pray that your surgery is/was as uneventful as mine. A year on, I just had a clearance from my cardiologist who said my heart looked great although he still wished I would give up my cigars. LOL
Scott – yes, dear friend, you’ve been added to our prayer list and yes, we know God’s hands are fully in this surgery with the doctors, the staff and all who come in contact with your outgoing, positive personality – you are in the best of hands! Thanks for sharing this with us, and we’ll be praying for you on your road to recovery.

I felt sorry for myself for having the stomach flu a few days & then I see you walking through this. Scott you are strong in the Lord & blessed. You showed me how to be intentional in my prayers & it’s Ok to talk to God about anything. You don’t just talk the talk, you walk the walk. Looking forward to what the “accidental missionary” has to say about this walk !

So sorry to hear about your shocking news â but Iâm thanking God that the blockage was discovered before something tragic happened. God has your back â and your heart! We have a prayer group at work, and weâll keep you and your family in our prayers!
